Verkiezingen 2011
: begin 2011 zoals elke 3 jaar organiseren we de verkiezing van de 10
leden voor het bestuur.
Gelieve jullie
coödinaten na te zien zodat alles goed kan verkopen: het lidgeld voor
2010, adresgegevens en het statuut van jullie
lidmaatschap.
Ter herinnering : alle leden mogen hun stem
uitbrengen maar enkel de effectieve leden zijn verkiesbaar voor de raad van
bestuur.
Nationale studiedag van 17
maart 2011 :
Noteer alvast deze datum in jullie
agenda. Het is niet alleen onze nationale studiedag, maar ook de viering
van 25 jaar BES!
In de voormiddag wordt
het thema 'nieuwe technologie en communicatie' voorzien, en in de namiddag
zullen we het hebben over de evoluties van 25 jaar
ergonomie.
Dezelfde dag zal ook het nieuwe bestuur voorgesteld
worden.
Folder BES 2010: Er is een nieuwe versie gemaakt van de folder die BES als vereniging voorstelt. Er wordt een PDF versie opgestuurd via mail

Activiteiten en nieuws van de Nederlandstalige vleugel van de BES:
Veerle Hermans heeft ter gelegenheid van het FEES congres (10-12 oktober) te Brugge een onderscheiding gekregen voor 'beste poster' : "The professional experience fund - A Belgian example for support of the quality of work for elderly workers". (V Hermans, R. Motmans, A Himpens). Hierbij gaat het over een verbetertraject in een bedrijf dat tot stand gekomen is in samenwerking met het ervaringsfonds. Felicitaties!
De workshop over risicoanalyse ergonomie
was een succes. Er waren verschillende enthousiaste reakties van de
deelnemers.
We vergeleken
verschillende analysemethodes aan de hand van een concrete werkpost
(fruitverpakking). Voor herhaling vatbaar.
Vorig jaar werd voor de eerste keer een
Jaarboek Ergonomie samengesteld door de BES, de Belgische ergonomievereniging.
Ook dit jaar is uw bijdrage over goede praktijken in de ergonomie welgekomen.
Niet teveel twijfelen, gewoon doen!
Uit de verschillende inzendingen zullen ook de sprekers
voor de jaarlijkse Nieuwjaarsontmoeting geselecteerd worden. De uitnodiging kan

I am delighted to inform you
that all the language versions of the questionnaire for the 5th European Working
Conditions Survey (EWCS) have now been made available to the public
on Eurofound's website. They can be downloaded from the following link
http://www.eurofound.europa.eu/ewco/surveys/ewcs2010/questionnaire.htm.
The first results of the survey will be announced at a
Belgian Presidency Conference which will be held in Brussels on 16th-17th
November 2010.
The overview report of the 5th
EWCS will be published in March/April 2011 and the dataset for the
survey will be available one year from the date of publication of this
report.

OSHA, Bilbao: Economic incentives to improve
occupational safety and health: a review from the European
perspective
The European Union strategy
2007-12 on occupational safety and health (OSH) recognises that there is a need
to use economic incentives to motivate enterprises to apply good practice in
their prevention work. The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work
(EU-OSHA) contributes to meeting this need by providing information on the types
of economic incentives that are most likely to succeed. Research has shown that
external economic incentives can motivate further investments in prevention in
all organisations and thus lead to lower accident rates. The primary target
audience are organisations that can provide economic incentives to improve OSH,
such as insurance companies, social partners or governmental institutions. These
organisations are regarded as important intermediaries to stimulate further
efforts in OSH in their cooperating enterprises, e.g. as clients of insurances.
Therefore a network of such organisations has been established in form of an
expert group, which supports the project with advice and helps to promote the
results.
